The Red Beach is located in the Liaohe River Delta, about 30 kilometer southwest of Panjin City in China. The beach gets its name from its appearance, which is caused by a type of sea weed that flourishes in the saline-alkali soil. The weed that start growing during April or May remains green during the summer. In autumn, this weed turns flaming red, and the beach looks as if it was covered by an infinite red carpet that creates a rare red sea landscape. Most of the Red Beach is a nature reserve and closed to the public. Only a small, remote, section is open for tourists.

ReplyDeleteDon't despair. You WILL go there in you want to. I once made a wish on New Year's Eve to go to Australia AND New Zealand that year. My friends and I all stated our wishes out loud, 1 after another, holding hands in a circle and putting "positive energy" into each other's wishes. I was leaving for both countries for a month on March 11!!! And I got to stop for a week in Fiji on the way. As if that wasn't enough, I went back to Australia for a month that Sept, AND back to NZ for New Year's Eve! I had seen the N. Island the 1st time & saw the S. Island the 2nd time. No matter how impossible it seems, it will happen if you do not doubt! Just concentrate on 1 thing or trip at a time. Good luck!!"
